This is the fundamental question that everyone asks themselves when they think about the alternative to working a nine to five job.

And you got to admit that it would be nice to be able to work from home and get paid to take orders or make sales over the phone or internet.

...And not just at home but anywhere you are.

What you will need to make that possible is a multilevel marketing program that doesn't require inventory that you need to store.

Also you want to make sure you are working utilizing a system of opening and closing.

Preferably your upline will close any leads you have in the beginning. Now the way that you want to acquire leads is through a contact card where you write down the leads information and than you set a appointment to call them back and close them.

Remember always give them some type of flyer or sales piece. That way they don't forget about you. Remember that you're trying to set a appointment. Not trying to sell the product.

It's easy to talk your way into a sales and then right back out of one.
One crucial aspect of any approach that you can control is your appearance.

Also, remember, when you are first learning any new script to make sure you memorize it down to a tee. That way you can learn to recite your script naturally.

What you want to do is give your prospect the impression that you are the new guy, but you are somehow putting it all together and the way that you do that is by pausing in the middle of your sentences and then not pausing in between sentences.

That way when the customer misses their chance to object, its not because you railroaded them, but more because they just missed their chance and you didn't realize they were going to say anything. I know it seems like a difficult approach, but try it and I guarantee it will do wonders for your sales.

And when you are canvassing or setting appointments, what you want to do is use one of the neighbors names somewhere during the first half of your approach.

For example, "Hello my name is Dave, I'm with ABC company and I was just coming by to give you some information. I don't suppose you know Betty Roberts do you? Yeah she recently participated in the program or she recently contributed to us and I was gonna say that there is a good chance you could benefit or will qualify for the program as well."

Even if you know that the customers name that you are using will not ring a bell where you are at, then use it anyways, at least until you have another name. Happy hunting and good luck. Carter...
